Socorro Dove (Zenaida graysoni).
The Socorro Dove is a species which is extinct in the wild. It used to be native to the Socorro Islands of the coast of Mexico. It is thought to have become extinct in their native range due to a number of factors, including grazing by sheep.
This photo was taken at Chester Zoo, England.
Cheer up, next time we’ll go to the aquarium instead.
